Kylie Jenner has revealed alarming details about the difficult pregnancy she experienced while carrying her son Aire, admitting that at one stage doctors warned her the baby was essentially “falling out.” The reality star and beauty mogul made the comments during an emotional appearance on Jake Shane’s “Therapuss” podcast, where she discussed the severe health problems she faced during her second pregnancy.

Jenner explained that the pregnancy with Aire was dramatically harder than her first pregnancy with daughter Stormi. She revealed that just 12 weeks into the pregnancy, she woke up one morning barely able to walk because of intense back pain and severe sciatica.

Severe Pain Left Her Unable to Leave Bed
According to Jenner, the pain became so extreme that she was often confined to bed. She said she experienced chronic lower back pain alongside ongoing issues involving early dilation during the pregnancy. At one point, Jenner said she was already three centimeters dilated for nearly two months before giving birth. Doctors reportedly became concerned enough to place her on strict bed rest because the baby appeared dangerously low. She recalled doctors telling her she needed to stay in bed because “the baby was falling out,” a statement that shocked many listeners online after clips from the interview began circulating across social media.

Pregnancy Took Major Physical Toll
Jenner admitted she had expected the pregnancy to go smoothly because she was in what she described as the “best shape” of her life beforehand. However, the complications quickly changed everything. The star said she gained around 65 pounds during the pregnancy with Aire, compared to approximately 60 pounds during her pregnancy with Stormi. She also dealt with intense nausea that became worse whenever she stopped eating. Jenner joked that she craved carbohydrates constantly and ate large amounts of ice cream during the pregnancy because it helped settle her stomach. She specifically mentioned eating a pint of ice cream almost every night while pregnant.

First Pregnancy Was Completely Different
While discussing the ordeal, Jenner compared the experience to her first pregnancy with daughter Stormi, which she described as far easier. She also reflected on discovering she was pregnant at just 19 years old, admitting she was terrified to tell her parents. Jenner said she feared their reaction but eventually realized she wanted to become a mother regardless of the challenges ahead. The celebrity eventually welcomed daughter Stormi in 2018 and son Aire in 2022 with rapper Travis Scott. Although the couple later separated, Jenner has continued sharing moments of motherhood publicly while balancing her business empire and media career.

Fans React to Her Honest Confession
Jenner’s candid comments quickly attracted widespread attention online, with many fans praising her honesty about the physical realities of pregnancy complications. Others expressed shock at how serious the medical situation appeared to be. Medical experts note that early cervical dilation during pregnancy can sometimes increase the risk of premature birth and may require bed rest or close monitoring, depending on the severity of the condition. Despite the frightening complications, Jenner confirmed that both she and Aire ultimately recovered safely. She also revealed that her chronic back pain has slowly started improving after several years.
